“O Lord God of hosts, how long will you be angry with your people's prayers?” Psalm 80:4
Often times we try to tempt the hand of God by our temper tantrums, pity parties, and by issuing ultimatums; none of these will move God. He is only moved by our faith.
Is He worth waiting for?
I catch a glimpse of the big picture as I attempt to faithfully walk out the small picture.
He promised the waiting would be worth it.
Some of God's answers need that wait-for-it attitude. In those waiting times, how do we wait?
I sat in the middle of my kitchen scooping up blueberries and bawling like a baby. I cried out to God, “Enough!”
Feeling rushed? The strength to love God by loving and helping others comes from quietly trusting that God will equip us in the ways that he calls us.
When God seems silent, it's easy to feel like giving up and walking away from him.
When it comes to making decisions, are you more like a frantic seagull, or a calculated heron?
"Patience isn’t waiting. It’s how you act while you are." #LiveDevo
Hurry up and wait.
Everything we do and say should reveal how Christ has given us freedom.
Is it possible to overcome a flight or fight response?
The mundane is pregnant with opportunities for deep connections.
The fulfillment of God's promise to you may be just around the corner.
