I know all of the correct answers: “He uses our suffering for his glory,” “it’s so that others will come to know God,” or “God has a bigger plan.” But none of these answers seem enough.
When someone is suffering, we try to give comfort the best way we know how: with our words. But sometimes, we end up making the situation a whole lot worse. So what do you say to someone whose heart is broken?
