“Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ”. (Paul the Apostle)  1 Corinthians 11:1

When you hear the word “mentor” do you look around to see who might qualify? We don’t always see ourselves in that role. Yet you could have the wonderful satisfaction of sharing your life experiences and offering encouragement as an online mentor.

Do you feel compassion for those who are struggling? Have you felt the strength of God at work in your life?

Mentoring is simply sharing your life experiences as you have grown in following Jesus. When you volunteer to be an online mentor you bring your story, your knowledge of walking with God, and your desire to encourage someone else. We bring you resources and guidance as you respond to one of the messages in our system. We ask that you pray for God’s guidance and focus the discussion on what God’s word says. Our resources help direct you to specific topics and supporting scriptures.

Hundreds of people come to our sites daily looking for hope. We need your help in offering encouragement.  Through sharing your own story others will be encouraged to move along in their own journey of faith in Jesus.

You can answer one message a day, or one a month – whatever your interest and time permit. If you get an message you feel unable to respond to you can return it to the system.

Someone is desperate for you to be present and listen. Your care and prayers can be a lifeline of hope.

Father God,

My heart does desire to share Your peace and the hope You have brought to my life. Please give me the courage, the time and the wisdom of Your Holy Spirit as I respond to those seeking hope. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
