“’For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.’” Isaiah 55:8-9

It is a wonderful thing when we are willing to admit that we don’t understand God’s ways.  It’s as though in that moment, we are immediately pulled more closely into WHO He is and are able to let go of what we believed we had control over, which only ever serves as a burden.

We are not meant to have all the answers to our life’s questions, but to trust the One who does.

Knowing God within all things gives us satisfaction in life, not having the answers TO all things.  This only happens when we surrender our need to understand all things and instead, trust our Heavenly Father, the One who knows all things.

Whether we are at our lowest of lows or highest of highs, God holds us there. Our intimacy with Him is what matters to Him. That is what gives us our peace and our comfort.

Heavenly Father, forgive me for not trusting and having faith that You know all things and can see the bigger picture of my life.  I choose to give You every area of my life. I offer every moment to You.  Amen

Take Action:

Take a moment before your day begins, and give it over to God.   Surrender your moments and the events of the day to Him knowing He has ultimate authority over your days.
