When prayer gets real.
When you ask God to change you and not the other person.
When you pause and go to Him before venting to a friend.

That’s what it means to trust Him

When your heart is at peace after kneeling in God’s presence.
When you wait on God to move before you do.
When you stop trying to fix everything.

That’s what it means to trust Him

When you no longer fear the test results.
When you embrace the current difficulty because you know that God will get the glory.
When you sit in the stillness so you can hear His voice.

That’s what it means to trust Him

When you don’t lean on your own understanding.
When you don’t care what other people think.
When you value the Word of God above the words of people.

That’s what it means to trust Him.

When you give your heart over to the Potter’s hands.
When fear no longer has you in its grasp.
When you understand that suffering is the path to knowing Jesus.

That’s what it means to trust Him.

Heavenly Father, give me grace to put my trust in you alone. I know that you are good, and I am thankful.
