When was the last time someone told you to rejoice? In the chaos of life, moments of true joy often feel rare. Yet, the prophet calls us to rejoice, not out of duty, but in anticipation of a future where the King is coming. This king is righteous, victorious, and has already overcome the enemy. His reign will be one of peace and justice, stretching "from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth."

Jesus' victory over sin, death, and every struggle we face is the source of our joy. Do you know that you don’t have to fight unnecessary battles on your own? God is always willing and able to help us. Christ's kingdom isn’t some distant dream, it's already here, and it will last forever. Jesus came to win our hearts, not through force, but through his sacrificial love. He gave his life for us, securing victory over sin and death. But his work isn’t finished yet. The same king who came in humility will return in glory, bringing justice and peace to all the earth (Revelation 19:11-16).

Are you ready for his return? Will you see him for who he truly is; not just the gentle Savior, but the King who is coming in glory? Open your heart to him now, letting him reign in your life before he reigns over all the earth. Rejoice, because the King is coming to establish his eternal kingdom.

Dear Lord, thank you for your love, your sacrifice, and the victory you’ve already won for us. Help us to open our hearts to you as both Savior and King, living with hope and readiness for your return. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Throughout this day: Take a moment to reflect: Have you fully surrendered your heart to Jesus? Are you allowing him to lead your life now, before he takes his place as King over all? It’s not just about waiting for some distant future, it’s about living with hope and readiness for his return, and preparing your heart to welcome him. Jesus is inviting you to come to him, to find rest, and to experience a joy that words can’t even describe.
