“For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13

The next time you feel less than, think about how God has carefully, thoughtfully, and beautifully made you: in His image, just how He wants you to be.

God knew what He was doing when He made you. And He has crafted a masterpiece!

How often do you get down on yourself? Maybe you aren’t content with how you look, or maybe you wish you were more charismatic or less of a people-pleaser.

But consider this image: God, sitting with His knitting needles, intentionally weaving your personality and character and appearance together in the womb.

God has made you for a purpose. Now go and live the life you were created to live!

Father, thank You for making me in Your image. Forgive me when I compare myself to other people, or when I don’t find value in myself. Help me to live into the purpose You have created for me, and to extend Your love to those around me. Amen.
