Have you ever felt isolated and alone? It was an attack against the truth. Demonic lies infiltrate through our thoughts when we are not allowing the Holy Spirit to remind us of the truth. The moment we are saved, God’s love pours into our hearts.
The truth is that God is love, and his love dwells within us. As the Holy Spirit speaks that truth over us, we can know that we are truly not alone, because he is always with us. When that truth becomes our personal experience, then we live as more than conquerors. When Jesus died on the cross for us, he conquered sin’s penalty for us by taking our place. When he was raised from the dead on the third day, he conquered death and took away its sting.
He has called us to be more than conquerors - to win every battle. Here is his battle plan for us. We will conquer and gain victory over the enemy’s plans against us through a lifestyle of praise. It is his declared will to be thankful in all things. As we listen to the Holy Spirit working in us, we can sing instead of doubt, praise instead of feel lonely.
We cannot be slack in this battle. Ephesians 6:10-18 are our marching orders. Every attack must be intentionally fought through proclaiming His truth through praise. Praise thwarts the enemy’s plans to derail us. Praise allows the Lord to strategically presence himself.
Father, I am so grateful for the truths in your word. Thank you for giving us such a strategic weapon to effectively fight against the enemy of our soul. Thank you Lord Jesus for your example of a victorious conqueror. May we exemplify you through our lives. Amen.
