Nicodemus was curious to know more. But he was afraid of what his friends might think so he came to see Jesus at night.

Do you long to hear more about Jesus? Is your heart stirring you to approach him?

Hear his words, “No one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”

We were born into this world with a birth certificate to prove it. There’s a Book of Life in heaven that records those who were born a second time (Revelation 21:27).

The new birth comes from above by His Spirit like the wind. “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, not knowing where it comes from or where it’s going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit” (John 3:8).

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). God washes away our sin making us clean. He gives us a new heart and will to follow him. His Spirit now dwells in us. No longer slaves to sin, we’re now free to set our minds on things above. His Spirit bearing witness that we’re his and that we will see God soon.

Have you been born again? Don’t be afraid. Come closer to the Light.

God didn’t send his Son to condemn but that through Him we might be saved. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in God’s one and only Son (John 3:17-18).

Lord God, thank you for testifying to us of heavenly things. Thank you for giving us your Spirit who reveals them to our stubborn and hard hearts. You alone are worthy of our praise and worship and we love you because you first loved us.
