There is no greater agony of mind and worry than the destiny of our precious children’s souls. As the years roll on without any changes, hope dissipates, and we fear that late night phone call.

Christian friend let’s look back together. Remember when we were dead in our sins following the ways of this world and the ruler of the kingdom of the air. We lived gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. (Ephesians 2:1-3)

And… When we were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. (Titus 3:3-5)

We were deserving of wrath. Our children are also deserving of wrath. We know this, and that’s why we sorrow and fear.

Be encouraged! Our merciful God saved sinners like us. Our sons and daughters are also sinners, so there’s great hope for them. Trust God for their souls.

See how he saves: This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (1 John 4:10)

At just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans 5:6)

He demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, (deserving wrath), he died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Never stop praying. Your kids know the scriptures. Keep asking the King to grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth. That they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. (2 Timothy 2:25-26)

Lord Jesus, thank you for Your loving desire and sacrifice to save sinners. We had no interest in you, nor any power to change. We were ungodly and deserving of your just punishment. We love you because you loved us first. Our children are in the same danger as we once were. Be merciful to them, we ask and pray, as you were merciful to us. Without your grace, we would all be lost. Grant that we may all be with you in Paradise soon.
