How do you express love when you feel completely unworthy of it? When you reflect on the love Christ showed on the cross, it's overwhelming. The depth of it brings tears, but at the same time, a deep, unexplainable joy floods our hearts. His love is real and transformative. It changes us, reshapes us, and draws us closer to the heart of God.

Think about the woman who anointed Jesus with perfume. She had a past filled with guilt, shame, and judgment. She probably felt she didn’t belong in Jesus’ presence, yet she came, weeping and expressing her love by kissing and anointing his feet. Jesus looked at her and said, “Her many sins have been forgiven - as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little” (Luke 7:47).

Perhaps you feel like you’ve messed up or that you’re too far gone for grace. But here’s the beautiful truth: Jesus is always waiting with open arms, ready to meet you exactly where you are. He cares about your heart.
Jesus doesn’t just forgive; he restores. He gives us a new name, a new identity. In him, we are made whole. His love breathes life, hope, and transformation into every broken part of us. Every day, he’s shaping us into his likeness, filling us with his perfect love.

Just like the woman with the alabaster jar, we too can express our love to Jesus. The song Pour My Love on You

by UpperRoom beautifully captures this act of surrender. It’s a call to pour out everything before Jesus, knowing that he welcomes us just as we are.

Dear Heavenly Father, today I turn away from my old ways and turn to you. Thank you for showing your love through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. I receive your gift of salvation. Help me to live in a way that honours you and please guide my decisions. May my life reflect your love, and may your name be praised forever. Amen.

Throughout this Day: If you feel undeserving, know this: Jesus doesn’t require perfection. He simply wants you to come, to be loved, and to be transformed. The invitation is clear: “Come to me.” Open your heart to receive him, and let his love wash over you. In his eyes, you are worthy, you are loved, and you are forgiven.
