All systems go! Can you believe that the year is almost over? You must be as thrilled as I am. This year has had its fair share of pains but great gains as well, especially for me. I have seen the Lord at work in my life. Of course, some desires are yet to be fulfilled but I choose to rejoice, thus far he has brought us. I have learnt the best therapy of the soul is praise, having a heart of gratitude.

Praise works wonders! When the heart is sick, try praise and thanksgiving. Begin to count your blessings, it helps to remove anxiety, as it shifts focus from everything that is not working to the one who can intervene in all situations and make a way.

A few months ago, the Lord opened a door for my family, and we had to relocate. Moving is stressful, and it takes its toll on a person. There was a lot of uncertainty regarding our future home, school, new neighbors, and a variety of other concerns. Guess what. God proved faithful precisely when I needed him to be! The Lord settled us, providing a good school, a home in a nice community. When the odds were stacked against us, he made a way.

What is your testimony? Has the Lord been good to you? Right this instance, put on your garment of praise and rejoice in God for thus far. He has been faithful.

Heavenly Father, this far, I attest to your faithfulness. May you receive all my praise. I purpose to be glad and rejoice in you at all times and in all seasons. Amen.

Throughout the Day: Today, resolve in your heart to magnify the Lord - to rejoice and be glad in him. Let this song by Don Moen – Thank You Lord, usher you to a place of praise.
