Even though it can be scary to share the Gospel, I have seen how the Lord works through us to bring others to Christ. I just got back from a mission trip to India. I was on a “mission” to get the Lord’s message out to those who have never heard of Jesus.

I knew that God’s message was important and that I trusted him. I saw that my purpose was to share the message of Jesus and what he accomplished on the cross. But I also knew that I had to trust that the Spirit would do the work. I could see fruit come from my words when I did.

In this passage, Paul tells us that as broken humans, we are entrusted with the Gospel and to share it with others. He also tells us that when we share it with the right heart, it pleases God.

We serve a mighty God who works through broken people like us to advance his kingdom and bring others to Christ. In challenging times like this, there is a need for eternal hope and for Christians to proclaim what Jesus has done for us with boldness.

As believers, one of the main goals of being on this earth is to hold onto what God has entrusted to us. He has entrusted us to do many things, but one of the most important is to share the Gospel of Jesus.

Jesus, thank you for entrusting me with your Gospel. May you help me to share it with others and seek to know you. Amen.
