Trust God. Once you do, He will give you the blessings of joy, peace, and hope.
That’s easier said than done. How do you trust in Him when He feels a million miles away? When He’s silent, when things fall apart, or when your heart is broken?
God’s love and His promises probably aren’t the first things you think of when crisis takes over your life. Doubt, fear, and stress may consume you, leaving little room for trusting in God’s goodness.
But trust is the very thing He calls you to.
He wants His children to continually remember His compassion and His kindness, to trust that He’s in control, and to believe that He is the very definition of hope.
Dear God, thank You for Your compassion and love and kindness. Thank You that You are our true source of hope. Help us to learn to trust in You and remember Your love, even amidst the storms of life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
