Who Should I Marry?

PART 2 OF 4 IN How To Have A Great Marriage, by Claire Colvin treasure

Haven’t we all fantasized about the great skills and qualities our “Mr.” or “Ms. Right” will have in their repertoire?

“I might really like and respect someone, but if they don’t have what it takes to climb the mountain of marriage, it would be foolish to marry them regardless of how strong the sexual chemistry or romantic infatuation is.” – Gary Thomas

Thomas points out the important of knowing whether or not this person is capable of having a really solid marriage. Are they someone who can forgive? Do they have strong relationships with other people in their life? Is this a person for whom divorce is an option? When you choose a spouse, you're literally betting your life that this is going to work, so go into it with a lot of prayer and a great deal of careful consideration.
