Think of the best gift anyone has ever given you. I bet you couldn’t wait to show it off to your friends. Jesus is the greatest gift anyone can ever receive, so it makes sense that he doesn’t want us to keep him to ourselves.
In fact, he wants everyone to receive his love, and he has chosen to make the invitation through us.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
This might sound a little scary, but remember: you don’t need to change anyone’s heart or mind. That’s not up to you. God is already busy leading people on a spiritual journey. He is pursuing them too and working on their hearts. He just wants you to love people and follow his lead as he prompts you to share about him.
There’s nothing quite as much fun as being used by God to lead others to Jesus! You’ll put a big smile on your face (and God’s) when you see someone else receive the greatest gift you’ve ever received. Here are some great tips for sharing your faith.
