Engaging, humourous and practical, Darla Walker is known as a Communicator of Hope. She specializes in connecting with women and addressing issues of primary concern to them.
She has spoken to thousands of women in 11 countries, with audiences numbering from 10 to 10 thousand. A frequent conference and retreat speaker, she is one of only 2 Canadian women to speak with Women of Faith conferences.
Having addressed audiences including university students, faculty, business and professional leaders, pastors, and broadcasters, Darla brings a seasoned perspective to help women understand and meet the challenges of life.
She has been a guest lecturer at eight Canadian universities, as well as several international universities, and is a frequent guest speaker at International Women’s Day events.
Darla has spent most of her career in the non-profit sector, and her heart to help women reach their potential has led her to participate on humanitarian projects in Canada and 11 countries overseas. She currently holds a position as a marketing coordinator for an Ontario company.
