The Resurrection

What evidence is available to prove Jesus Christ rose from the dead?

There are three main evidences that Jesus rose from the dead: historical, biblical and personal.

Historically, Jesus' body went missing. Who would have taken it? The Roman soldiers's lives were at stake for "letting his body go missing" and the Roman officials wanted Jesus to be reported dead to stop the growth of what grew into the vibrant early Christian church.

The disciples wouldn't have been able to infiltrate the Roman guard and huge stone in front of Jesus' tomb. Also, they had returned to former professions of fishing when Christ disappeared.

Biblically, the report is that women who had returned to the tomb found it empty and angels appeared to them to say Jesus had risen from the dead.

Personally, trusting in Christ has changed the lives of millions of people as evidenced by the continued existence of the Christian church over the past 2000 years against much persecution. Today, millions testify to Jesus changing their lives from the inside out and profess an undying love for God who sent His son so that we can know God in a personal way.
