We all carry various burdens and struggles that sometimes prevent us from living the life God intended. Christ’s sacrifice, though, reminds us that he defeated every last thing that might encumber His people. Thus, the charge to us all is to come awake and be one with Christ again. Music by Matt Maher.

I was so inspired by this video, and I am tremendously grateful that God has made me a new creation in Christ. It was not so very long ago that I was in bondage to life-controlling fear, anxiety, anger, shame, and depression, with memories of being a daily cutter who did not know how to escape my pain still fresh in my mind. The Truth of how Jesus Christ has changed – NO – transformed my reality into a life of love, hope, peace, patience, and a desire to daily and moment-by-moment grow closer to Him and know Him in a deeper way as I enjoy every moment of my life is still amazing to me. Yet, I know that it is true, it is real, and because it is so for me, it can be for anyone. I am an overcomer, and it is my dream today to reach out to others to help them be more than conquerors in Christ, too! Praise be to God that He called me to come awake! May many others answer His call, for He loves each and every one of us!
