Kelley decided to start expecting more from God. She shared her faith regularly but she wanted to enlarge her vision of how God could use her. It was time to trust God for an even greater impact in her life and ministry.
So she took action by setting this remarkable goal:
By God’s grace, I will share the gospel every day for forty days.
Wow! That’s quite a commitment! In reliance upon the Holy Spirit, Kelley began to experience amazing encounters where she could share her faith. Her confidence in God became stronger. God really did have bigger plans for her.
What does Jesus care about? Many things, of course, but we don’t have to guess what he wants us to have as a central priority in our lives.
Then Jesus came to them and said,"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" Matthew 28:19-20.
