Hmmm. Me and my dad were tight as I grew up and so I think I respect men and fathers a lot. And I wonder if it has to do with the fact that I feel comfortable with seeing God as a father. I wonder if it is different fro people who haven’t had such positive experiences with their fathers?

I do not have a good relationship with my father, in fact, it’s pretty much been non-existent for the past 18 years or so. So it’s very difficult for me to grasp the concept of a close relationship with a father figure, whether it’s my father-in-law or God.
