“This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says, ‘In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it” (Isaiah 30:15).
“I feel stuck in a job I don’t like,” a young man told me. “I’ve been asking God to open another door for me. But so far, He hasn’t. I want to glorify Him with my life, then why doesn’t He answer me?”
“Perhaps it’s not time yet,” I said.
The young man also told me that he works in an ungodly atmosphere where he seems to be the only Christian. “Although I’ve had some really good talks with some of the men I work with, it really hasn’t made much difference,” he said.

True or false: Bring your doubts
Questions: There are answers
“God may very well lead you to another place, but while you are waiting, live each day for Him,” I said. “Do your very best work. Reach out in love toward your fellow workers. Be a cheerful person. Continue to be a light for Jesus where you are.”
As Oswald Chambers wrote, “Obey God in the thing He shows you and instantly the next thing is opened up.” Take one small step of obedience and then you’ll see the next one to take. God reveals His plan in steps, not in the total journey.
~Jesus, I want to glorify You this day. Right here, where I am. What can I do to spread your love and truth in this place?
Questions: Do you feel stuck in an unpleasant situation? What do you think God is teaching you?
