Linda R, thank you for that beautiful prayer. I know we are all human, and it is easy to live by our flesh and let the time waste away. But I believe He sees your heart too! God, help us to use our time wisely. God bless you.
Patti, I pray God will be with you in whatever you are going through. Funny thing is, I was in your place just a few weeks ago about attending 2 Women's Conferences.. He let me go to 1, and not the other. I guess I had to trust that He knew best! I pray God will allow you to attend whatever is best for you! Also, thanks for reminding us that God can use us despite our own struggles, and that He can use us despite weaknesses. God bless you.

In Christ, Amen!

I sit here in tears as I read all your comments and I realize how I too need to be unplugged from this life and get reconnected or plugged back into the True Power Source of Jesus Christ. Sure I have my devotions everyday, pray, and Love The Lord but I just realized how caught up I get in just everyday THINGS and probably number one for me is being on the computer, sure some of it is productive but I can sit here and waste away the hours doing a lot of none productive things too. Lord I pray that You will help me to Truly Make You My True Power Source Again and not ever get unplugged from You. I pray that for each of the ladies on this site those that have written here and all those that have just chosen to read the devotional. Lord I am sure all our cords are a bit loose to some degree, just connect us all tightly back into You. Jesus I also pray for Patti as she goes and see her cardiologist tomorrow, I just pray that everything will be working Great, and he will be very pleased with her progress and Jesus I just pray that he will give her the OK to go the this Women's Conference that she has been so badly looking forward to going to. Jesus I also pray for anonymous as she is going to meet-up with some of the sisters and other people with whom she has lost touch, help her Lord to not be afraid but fill her with Your strength, love, joy and peace so she can have a wonderful time with all these people, just let it be a real blessing and encouraging time for her. I pray all these things In Your Name In Faith Believing Amen! Hugs, Linda!!!

Hi Sisters, I thank you for your grace & prayers here on this site. Can I ask that you sisters lift up a prayer for me, as by God's timing, He leads me to meet-up with some of the sisters, and people with whom I've lost touch. I do pray I would not be afraid, but be released, and trust God will touch, heal and use the times for our good & His Glory. God has been faithful, and may I continue to look to Him and remember that He will do it.
I pray God will continue to touch each of you, and heal, and bless.

God bless you.

God bless you, Patti, for your humility and sweet surrender to the Lord; may He continue to reveal more of Himself and His perfect plan for your life! You have such a beautiful spirit, and your love for Jesus leaves a sweet aroma on this blog! Sometimes, in our joy and eagerness to serve Him, we grasp at the first opportunity that pops out at us, presuming it to be a divine appointment, without regard for our spiritual gifts. Other times, we are like Jonah, wanting to serve Jesus, but where we want to serve Him, not necessarily where He wants us to serve. While all service unto the Lord is useful to Him, He has specially equipped His children with spiritual gifts to maximize their benefit to the body of Christ! It is wise to seek to uncover our gifts, that they may be used by Him to bless others!
As I pondered the idea of our being "unplugged" to refocus on Jesus, it occured to me that it's not really a problem of our being 'plugged in,' but the problem lies in what power source we are 'plugged into!' When we are plugged into the one True Power Source, we will have spiritual electricity that will light up our lives, and energize our faith-walk! Patti, you were so right, when you said that you wanted to be "grounded in His power!" Amen!

Such a good devotion and I agree with each of you on so many things, we do find ourselves busy with "good" things and I think that sometimes in the business of doing good we lose the focus God has for us, I'm alot like Sara, I want God to show me things but I neglect to pick up the Word and seek what he has for me, and like Patti, I have made plans for certian things in my life "mapped them out" only to find that God is sending me in a totally diffrent direction. I too must learn to unpulg, or how to react when I am unplugged from things...
Susan, My heart goes out to you I was just watching my 13 year old son play football today thinking about how fast he is growing up, and remembering what you had written on the blog today about your son. I know that day will come for me someday as it does with all that have children, we must as mothers let go and trust God, Lord I ask that you give Susan comfort and peace today, protect her son and guied his steps give him wisdom as he makes decisions each day for his future place him where you want him to be and help him to always keep your word in his heart.
Lord, be with Patti today give her reasurance that you have a plan and guide her way as she make this journey of faith, trusting you with every step. As she goes to the doctor tomarrow give her peace let every part of her body be in working order as you have created it to be, bless all of the ladies on this blog today and help us all to "unplug" and trust you!

Know, ladies...that I am in prayer for all of you. I believe I unplugged from all the worldy things. ....and from my own ignorant will. I believe I did that today.

Please remember me....I see the cardiologist tomorrow.......but no matter what he says, ultimately, I am in the palm of His Hand. Praise God!

Interestingly it was just yesterday that I felt God was telling me to let go of something I thought I was doing for him.

Today, just one day later, I am already feeling a freedom and joy that has been eluding me!

Thank you Charlene for this great devotional today. And 11 Chronicles 20:12 is really speaking to all of us today. I can tell by the comments that have been made. Thank you ladies for your comments. They speak volumes to me . We certainly never do the right things when we are doing our own things instead of what God has planned for us already and we are just so busy that we aren't listening. I have been so guilty of it.

Dear Heavenly Father, bless these that have posted today, and shared their hearts with us. I ask you to forgive me for planning things instead of listening to your still small voice. You are always right with what you are planning for us. Please help us to all slow down and just listen to your Godly advice and wisdom for our lives. We want to be good witnesses to others who may be watching us, our families, our neighbors, church members and people who we meet in the grocery store, our precious children and grandchildren. Help me to keep my eyes on you for my daily plans. I love you, Hannah
