Dr. Muriel, you asked:
In view of all the miracles Jesus Christ did, and all of his great teachings, why did His people reject Him? Why did most Jewish people in general reject Jesus Christ in spite of His fulfillment of all the prophecies made in the Old Testament?

Sometimes I would think about this. Why? First of all it was planned years ago. It fulfilled the prophecies. God can harden hearts and scripture will say as such. When the Pharoh agreed to let the Israelites go, God hardened his heart, so he changed his mind. The Pharisees were jealous of Jesus. They encouraged the people to turn on Christ. IF the people did not turn on Christ, then scriptures would not be completed. We would not have a Savior. Praise and thank the Lord that the people turned on Jesus, that Jesus was crucified, and we have a sinless Savior.

WE ARE TAUGHT TODAY TO LET IT BE KNOWN THAT WE PRAISE JESUS CHRIST AND GOD. BACK WHEN CHRIST WAS ON HIS WAY TO BE CRUCIFIED. THE PEOPLE WERE PRAISING HIM ,AS WELL AS, HIS DISCIPLES WERE DOING LETTING OTHERS KNOW THE CHOSSON ONE. THE ONE THAT WE WOULD ALL NEED TO FOLLOW IN ORDER TO GET INTO HEAVEN WHEN OUR TIME CAM. THE PHARISEES THOUGHT THEY WERE TO GOOD FOR ALL THIS THAT WAS GOING ON.

I think that Jesus was not totally accepted for many reasons. People have ever been fearful of change. People have always been jealous of others. People have since the time of Jesus not wanted to "count the cost" of following Jesus, and then not wanted to pay the cost of following Him. People still want to "logicalize" (my made up word) every aspect of faith, every aspect of God into what can't be touched or explained. And mostly, God sent His Son to save us all, and it was foretold that Jesus, the perfect most holy, would die for us all. The Pharisees and Sadcusees did not want to risk giving up their power and wealth; and could not accept that such a simple Man came to change the world. And sadly, many people still are unaccepting of we Christians today, still want to "argue away" Jesus and His many miracles and His complete love. I am a very new Christian, but this is what I feel. I apologize if I am way wrong.
