“Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]–blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he.” Proverbs 29:18,  Amplified Bible.

Jesus said, “I came to seek and to save the lost.” He had a clear purpose. He never wavered from what God had sent him to do. What is God’s dream for you? Have you asked Him about it? Are you following His plan?

Helen Keller once said, “Is there anything worse then being blind? Yes! The most pathetic person in the whole world is someone who has sight but has no vision.” Do you have a vision? What are you doing with the vision or dream God has given you?

To throw your life into something worthwhile, your dream must be worth dying for. I have often hear women say that something is “to die for”. Usually they are referring to delicious food, or the latest in fashions. Would you die for the dream God has put in your heart?

Dare to have a big vision. Envision something that is beyond your capabilities and will keep you challenged, something that God will have to do through you. If your work is only for this moment - for yourself, for the accumulation of material things, for pleasure–you will soon become dissatisfied and disillusioned with life.

Jesus didn’t think about Himself, His life plan was to seek and save the lost. What are you giving your life for? Dare to have a dream and have a vision that is greater then yourself–one that will leave this world a better place. Have a dream that will introduce people to Jesus Christ.

Question: What dreams has God given you lately, either literally or figuratively?
