I've let The Truth's last comment (under the name who cares) through just so we can see the maturity of the one involved. Rather than moderating his comments, I am now going to send them directly to jail without passing go.

Goodbye The Truth.

In Matthew 23, Jesus expressed his deep contempt for true religious hypocrites. Here are some of the charges he leveled against them:

    * They give out laws to others, but they do not live by them (vs. 3-4)
    * They love impressive, public religious displays, and being referred to with religious titles (vs. 5-12)
    * They win converts to their own religion, but not to God (vs. 13-15)
    * They re-interpret their own laws in order to suit their own purpose (vs. 16-22)
    * They emphasize minuscule religious details, yet ignore the most important truths (vs. 23-24)
    * They keep the outward appearance clean, while leaving the inside corrupt
      (vs.25-28)
    * They deny their own sinfulness (vs. 29-36

plagiarism like Christianity...lol

The problem is, when some Christians find out that the Bible says that they will be misunderstood and mistreated by the world, they figure that it's their responsibility to be as bizarre as possible "for Jesus." These people often believe that the more "unworldly" (weird) they act, the more spiritual they must be.

only one name do i post in sir
the truth
who cares is a person agrees
believe what u will..

<em>"emmzee?cutting an paste ..your funny?.Intellect scares u"</em>

"the truth", nothing that has been posted here "scares" me, and I'm not sure why you'd find your own plagiarism funny. You are still providing mostly content taken from other sites and (it seems) trying to pass it off as your own work. Your last post was mostly copied, verbatim, from an atheist website. It would be more honest and credible if you wrote your replies yourself and tried to engage more in genuine discussion. That's the point of this blog: reading and responding to others' posts. Everyone here has responded in a calm and, I believe, fair way to your comments.

So, I kindly ask that you please stop copying and pasting information from other websites as the main content of your posts. Also, please post using the same name, as posting using different names and claiming that the other is right is considered trolling.

I would concur with Leah's response above: I have read the entire Bible, I have read a lot of atheist literature (as a former atheist after all), and I have also read "Case for Christ" among many other books.

I wonder if you have had a chance to read the article I posted earlier? If so, what did you think of it? Could you post your comments about it?
